Airebus sucks

Yes Airebus sucks.

I took Airebus from Singapore to come back before the Chinese New Year holidays because it was kinda like the most affordable bus ticket around. I’d usually take Eltabina but because Eltabina was charging twice the amount more than usual even when it was NOT a public holiday that Friday (CNY was on Sunday), I decided to boycott it as it was like daylight robbery. Boo Eltabina boo, shame on you.

Actually Eltabina is still the most decent bus to take if you want to travel at an affordable price during normal days, Singapore to KL and vice versa. They respect seat numbers and really wait for their passengers. I’ve taken Alisan before, and Alisan, amongst other bus companies, will leave the passengers at customs checkpoints if they are late. They even throw out their respective luggages. Or sometimes, you may be taking a first class bus, with individual tv screens and massage seats when you board, but forced to change into lousy bus with broken aircond and old seats halfway. You’ve no choice but to board, otherwise you’d be stranded in the middle of the highway. Yep, happened to me many times with other bus companies, which is why I’m saying Eltabina is still the best.

Airebus offered same price as usual, didn’t jack up the price nearing CNY, non-stop journey and meals on board. It was the first time I took Airebus. Travel 1st class I must say.

Until that horrid Friday.

First, it was raining. So that kinda spoilt the whole evening and made everyone pissed.

Second, the bus was 1 hour late! 1 fucking hour for goodness sake! And the company just let the passengers waited like sohais, no decency to inform us what’s going on, where’s the bus, what’s taking it so long … nothing. Nil. Zip.

That made everyone mega pissed.

The worst part was, the receptionist or service crew available at the counter weren’t helpful at all. I mean, we are all adults, we understand the logic of things. We can accept excuses that customs was crowded, traffic jam, lotsa people, yadda. We know and we are reasonable.

But she explained it like we owe her money, like it was our fault, and with a frown and giving US THE SOUR FACE! Hello? Does not people know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE? Airebus better be giving more customer service training to your service crew, because she was being very difficult.

Also, she said she cannot control the driver, it’s not her fault, cannot blame her and driver never turn on the mobile phone, hence unreachable.

Friend, let me tell you one thing. You work for Airebus don’t you? So you’re an Airebus employee aren’t you? If we don’t ask you, whom do we ask? The table? The pillar at DFS? What? Keeping yourself ’separated-oh-it’s-not-my-fault-but-the-driver’s-or-company’s-fault’ shows a lot about you. To Airebus employer, you wanna keep this kinda staff? Just fire her, she did an awful job, not pleasant, frankly quite rude, not apologetic, lousy service, lousy replies, not giving her best. Fire her. I’m spreading the news. You’re going down Airebus.

All the passengers were impatient and we stood around the desk bombarding questions after questions. Come on, Airebus, you are not ABC company, you are Airebus “Premium Bus Transportation” and we paid a lot of money to “Fly First Class”, and what did we get? Shiteous service, lousy service crew, NO hot drink, NO hot towel, not even pillow for my seat cos it was sent for laundry. What? One bus only got 1 set of pillow ar?

Airebus sucks guys. Don’t take it.

Take Aeroline, I like :D They have smiling crews and good service. Never fail to amaze me.

No, this is not a sponsored post. This is a community service message.

Remember, Airebus sucks.

  3. Do you want your travel plans to be consistently altered a few hours before travel ?

If the answer is YES, do be a customer with Airebus Bus Services

Airebus claims to provide FIRST CLASS SERVICE, but unfortunately provides a class below THIRD CLASS.

Let me introduce myself. I have been a customer with this bus service for a period of 6 months (mainly due to how close its sales office is relatively to my house). I shall outline my horrible experience out:

    1. Airebus changes travel plans without notice, and expect you to accept their altered time or have NO REFUND. Bus re scheduling can vary from 3-5 hours apart and your seat will be downgraded.

    2. Airebus First class coach is consistently polluted with flies all around, and even cockroaches have been spotted at the lower cabins.

    3. Tickets purchased on premium seats can be downgraded if the bus is under service. This happens VERY frequently.

    4. The bus is frequently LATE by 30 minutes from its pick up at Mid valley or Scotts Road.

    5. At the pre designated rest stops which are supposed to be 10-20 minutes at the most; Airebus service staff often decide to have lunch or dinner, and extend this rest stop to almost an hour, hence delaying the arrival times.

    6. The customer service is extremely rude and do not offer any rebates at all.

So remember, if you want to FLY LOW CLASS, go for Airebus
