Having lived in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, I don't think there is that much to complain about for apart from #5. Astro's services are so horrible that you can't believe that you even pay for that stuff, with poor service and frequent breakdowns. The roads and road conditions are terrible, with crazy drivers in protons all over the place. Also, I doubt there is any place in the world where taxes and rates are going down. For Singapore to be the 5th most expensive country to live in in Asia Pacific...uh, duh. Just stumbled on this post, and this blog!
