I Am Back Peehpul!
I am back to Singapore after a very marvelous 4 days of sand and sea in Phuket, 2 days of work in KL and 3 days of just being at home.
When I came back into this warzone of a rented space, I placed my luggage down and immediately turned on my laptop, to check news on Pet Society, read up other people’s blog using my Google Reader, filed my income tax, wished Azie happy birthday via Facebook, update my twitter and chatting with Fay to see if she’s still going to Bangkok this week following the news on state of emergency at that city.
Wow, I suddenly realized it’s amazing to be doing so many things at once online. No wonder it is easy to find rude people nowadays huh? People just lost the human touch. Everything’s “eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” now.
One thing that “e” can’t do is to cook maggi mee for me. Cos I’m hungry. There are unfold clothes on the bed left by da boyfriend. Should I fold them? Or push them aside till god knows when? I know. I’ll just chuck them into da boyfriend’s cupboard to ‘surprise’ him when he gets back. To pacify him for this, I bought him a set of perfume at the duty free shop at the airport earlier, so he cannot give me the stare of “you-are-so-fucking-lazy”. Nyek nyek.
I love traveling. I don’t know why people hate the airport. I love the airport. I love the crowd, people buzzing around, going places with their luggage in tow, sitting at cafes with laptops opened pretending to be busy but all I see is Facebook on their screens. I love waiting for the flights, waiting and just do NOTHING but observe other people. I love the travelators, I love the aircond, I love the smell of the airport. Do you know every airport has a different smell? Yep, I’m crazy like that. I still hate kiasu people rushing to board and get out of flights though.
I really had a good break this Easter. Really good break.
I will tell you all about it in my coming posts. At the meantime, I am loving my tan honey!
(I can still smell the sea. Lovesit.)
